XBOX Live – 1 vs 100, No Live Host

1 vs 100 lauched on XBOX live on 10th July 2009. I have now played 2 live games online but have yet to actually hear the live host.

I hear him right at the start but then I get a low bandwith message come up and dont hear anymore.

My line is 4mb down and 756KB upload, surely thats enough.

Anyone else heard him? Everyone I have spoken to has never heard him during the game.

Cmon Microsoft sort it out!!!!!! I know its beta but the game is crap without the live host being there. The game just have massive long pauses without.

I recently needed to renew my Xbox Live Membership. Microsoft charge Â£40 for a year so I was very keen to try and save some money.

I looked on ebay and found a seller for Â£27.99. However looking at the bottom of his auction there was a link for his website. I went there and he was selling a years membership for only Â£25.99. I took a punt and paid via paypal. About 2hrs later I received an email from them with the code. They send you a scanned image of the code. All entered on xbox live and all works. Not too bad a saving.

Live Messenger for iPhone out soon?

Recently a lot of instant messaging apps have been released by the official companies. First there was skype. Now yahoo messenger.

Unfortunately no one I know uses those and all of them use msn / live messenger. I really hope Microsoft is working on it as the current messenger clients aren’t very good.

The yahoo messenger app is VERY well presented and works well. Just need an identical sort of app from Microsoft now and I will be happy.

What’s your thoughts?
