Well I took the plunge and updated to the GM of iPhone OS 3.0. Once updated the iPhone booted up and sat on activating for ages……………
Eventually it activated. Shortly after activating I got a text from o2 saying :-
MMS is now setup for you. We will let you know when it is setup and ready to use.
About an hour later I got a MMS from O2 saying its all setup and ready to use. As you can see below, sends and receives fine.
At last the iPhone now has MMS and joins every other phone in having it.

I recently took the plunge and installed the beta version of iPhone OS 3.0.
I found that my battery life took a MASSIVE hit. It was depleted within around 8 hours.
So I downgraded back to 2.2.1 but it didn’t role back the baseband. Battery life was still bad.
I found out about an app called Fuzzy Baseband Downgrader in Cydia.
Once i had jailbreaked my phone I downloaded it in cydia.
Now all is good and battery life back to normal.
Recently a lot of instant messaging apps have been released by the official companies. First there was skype. Now yahoo messenger.
Unfortunately no one I know uses those and all of them use msn / live messenger. I really hope Microsoft is working on it as the current messenger clients aren’t very good.
The yahoo messenger app is VERY well presented and works well. Just need an identical sort of app from Microsoft now and I will be happy.
What’s your thoughts?
OldBooth is a cool new app out in the iPhone App Store.
It allows you to take a photo of yourself and make it look really old and trendy.
Carry on below to look below at the interface and some I have done.

I have bought a few apps on the iPhone but none have ever compelled me to blog about them. This was until I bought a little game for 59p called Flight Control made by a company called Firemint.
I found it in the App Store at number 1 and it had LOADS of good reviews. So I thought what the hell and purchased it.

In the press recently there has been a lot of stuff about Twitter. I thought I would give it a go and bow to the media.

Twitter is basically like the facebook status system. I’m guessing its become more popular since Facebook.
If your interested, i’m using the Tweetie program on the iPhone. Seems to have a nice interface to it.
